The posted compensation range of $57.84 - $67.05 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders, ensuring high-quality results while providing compassionate care to patients of all ages.
Every day you will verify patient identity, explain procedures, maintain safe and clean equipment, determine appropriate patient charges, and maintain accurate records.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong attention to detail in your imaging work, maintain high standards of quality and compliance, and prioritize patient privacy, dignity, and comfort.
- Uses independent judgment according to the particular circumstances of each procedure, performs a broad range of imaging procedures to create diagnostic medical images that meet the acceptability criteria established by the Medical Director
- Positively identifies patient and correlates procedure with physician's order
- Explains procedure to patient and responds to patient questions/concerns before beginning
- Obtains written consents to proceed when required by hospital standard practice
Required:
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an approved school or training facility
- California Medical Radiographer license
- Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
- California Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech license
Preferred:
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR)
