Responsibilities
Processes tissue and cytology specimens for examination, assisting the Pathologists in gross examination of tissue specimens and in performing autopsies. With other Histology team members,
participates in the management of the Histology section. May have access to or be required to distribute drugs, needles or syringes from storage locations, (such as large stock supplies, automated dispensing units and other carts) to/within patient care areas or treatment carts as defined by hospital policy/procedure.

Qualifications

Required:

One year experience as a Laboratory/Pathology Assistant

High school graduate or equivalent
