ICU Nurse

The ICU Nurse provides coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team providing leadership personal/professional development and conducting him/herself professionally.

Minimum:

• Current California RN license required
• One (1) year of RN experience in critical care in an acute care environment required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)

Together, the hospital and residency program developed a pioneering curriculum addressing the identification, treatment, and support of human trafficking victims, establishing the unique Human Trafficking Medical Home clinic.
