Overview

Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 384-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California. We have served north Sacramento County as well as south Placer County for over 50 years. Our facility is one of the area's largest medical centers and also one of the most comprehensive. Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to community well-being; providing excellent patient care to all. Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a Comprehensive Stroke Center as well as a Spine Center of Excellence. We are proud recipients of the Perinatal Care Certificate of Excellence and a Certificate of Excellence for Hip and Knee Replacements.


Responsibilities
This position requires at least 2 years experience working with physical disabilities in a health care setting. Candidates must be approved as a Physical Therapy Assistant by the Physical Therapy Board of California have a current California drivers license possession of automobile insurance access to an operating automobile and current CPR card from the American Heart Association.
The incumbent implements individual patient treatment programs developed by the Physical Therapist. Provides objective feedback on patient and caregivers performance.
The incumbent shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Mercy San Juan Medical Center and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience working with physical disabilities in a health care setting.
  • 2 years Approved as a Physical Therapy Assistant by the Physical Therapy Board of California.
  • Current California drivers license possession of automobile insurance and access to an operating automobile.
  • Current CPR card.
