Are you a master of multitasking, a calm presence amidst chaos, and a critical bridge between patients and care? We're seeking an exceptional Emergency Department Unit Support Assistant/Monitor Tech to be the operational backbone of our fast-paced ED!
This isn't just a desk job – it's a vital support role where your efficiency, composure, and sharp eye are essential. You'll orchestrate vital communications, manage critical data, and ensure seamless operations, all while maintaining an unshakeable demeanor.

What You'll Do:
- Communication Central: Act as the voice of the ED, answering calls, routing info, and liaising with departments, families, and external agencies.
- Monitor Master: Admit patients to central monitor, print rhythm strips, track changes, and alert staff to vital sign/rhythm changes.
- Organizational Whiz: Manage desk flow, organize charts/results, and ensure timely order entry (labs, imaging, diets).
- Coordination Pro: Coordinate patient transfers, prepare requisitions, and facilitate follow-up appointments.
- Confidentiality Champion: Uphold patient rights and information privacy.
- Support & Oversight: Keep supervisors informed, assist with clerical duties (admissions, discharges, transfers), and maintain logs/files.
Shift: 6pm - 6:30am
Core Schedule: Week 1 Thu, Fri, Sat; Week 2 Sun, Tue, Wed

- Education: High School Graduate or GED.
- Skills:
- Naturally calm and efficient under pressure.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
