Are you a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with a passion for surgical care? Join our dynamic Surgical Services team and be a pivotal part of delivering exceptional patient care. Under the Nurse Manager's direction, you'll be the cornerstone of our patients' surgical journey.

What You'll Do:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments (biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care).
- Formulate nursing diagnoses and implement timely, effective, age-appropriate care plans.
- Document patient progress and coordinate care across disciplines.
- Educate patients and families, administering medications safely according to policy.
- Ensure equipment availability, proper placement, and working condition.
- Share knowledge, mentor new staff, and willingly float to other areas as needed.
- Maintain licensure with required educational programs.
Shift: Casual Part-Time, Varied
Job Requirements
Required Licensure & Certifications:
- Registered Nurse: Oregon
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Within 30 Days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Within 6 Months
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of professional nursing theory, principles, and practices specific to surgical care.
- Ability to expertly apply nursing theory and the nursing process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to orient to Pediatrics and obtain PALS certification within 12 months.
