Job Summary and Responsibilities
Are you a meticulous, customer-focused individual seeking a crucial role in patient diagnostics? Join our essential laboratory team as a Lab Assistant / Phlebotomist!
You'll be at the heart of our operations, primarily in specimen processing and intake, ensuring the swift and accurate handling of vital samples to support patient care.
You will:
- Specimen Management: Process, organize, and quickly move samples for testing; handle all lab send-out testing including packaging.
- Patient Focus: Practice positive patient identification; demonstrate HumanKindness and good communication skills.
- Teamwork: Take responsibility for workflow and foster collaboration.
- Phlebotomy (if applicable): Perform venous and capillary punctures on all age groups, following collection procedures. May assist with training.
- Testing (if regulated): Perform CLIA waived and moderately complex testing, evaluating results under direction.
- Operational Support: Perform routine maintenance, monitor inventory, stock supplies, and manage records.
Shift: Mon - Thu 9am - 5:30pm; Sat 7am - 3:30pm

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:

- Excellent Customer Service: Clear and kind communication.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- BLS-CPR within 90 days.
- Preferred: Lab Assistant/Phlebotomy certification, 6 months acute care experience.
