More than just a cook, you'll be a caregiver. You'll prepare meals tailored to diverse dietary needs and restrictions, including therapeutic diets, while adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations. Your culinary expertise will ensure consistent, high-quality food that meets both our patients' needs and our commitment to excellence.
What you'll do:
- Prepare and serve meals using a variety of kitchen equipment (slicers, mixers, ovens, etc.)
- Adapt recipes to accommodate allergies and special dietary requirements.
- Maintain meticulous food safety standards, preventing cross-contamination and adhering to temperature guidelines.
- Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and sanitation practices.
- Contribute to a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Participate in quality control measures to maintain recipe adherence and food consistency.
- Understand and implement menu planning principles to create nutritious and varied meals.
- Provide exceptional service, always keeping the patient/customer perspective at the forefront.

Qualifications
What you'll bring:
- At least two years of food service experience.
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
- Food Handler Permit required upon hire.
- A passion for food and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
