Responsibilities
Position Summary:
In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the position is responsible for scrub duties in the operating rooms, under the direction of the Perioperative Manager.


Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Must have either one (1) year of previous acute hospital experience with certification within the past three (3) years in an Operating Room or 3 years acute care
    hospital experience within the last 5 years.
  • Graduate of high school or equivalency.
  • Graduate of an accredited program of scrub technician program. In lieu of certification, hospital will accept 3 years acute care hospital experience within the last 5 years.
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT-AHA (CT CPRBLS);CERTIFIED SURGERY TECH (CT ORT)

Preferred:

  • Cardiovascular surgery experience within the past five (5) years preferred.
