Position Summary:
- This leadership role will be responsible for managing staff in a union environment for Radiology, MRI, CT, Ultrasound/Echsonography, Mammography, Radiation Oncology, Non-Invasive procedures and Nuclear Medicine.
- Manages all technical, clerical, regulatory and administrative operations of a diagnostic imaging department to ensure quality and safety goals are achieved.
- Manages the application of diagnostic imaging technology and regulatory standards.
- Adopts, develops and applies policies, protocols and procedures to measure and improve the quality of diagnostic imaging services provided by different departments and improves customer satisfaction.
- Manages personnel through performance management, qualified staff selection and training and effective communication.
- Manages the safety of diagnostic imaging service activities and creates a safe environment for patients, staff and the public.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Minimum of three (3) years of diagnostic imaging experience and two (2) years of experience managing/supervising in a related imaging field.
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional imaging-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
- Certified technologist with current applicable state licensure. If the state in which you are applying offers no applicable state licensure, then corresponding registration in a national modality (ARRT or NMTCB or ARDMS) is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
- Complex, abstract problem solving capabilities to maintain system-wide functions.
