The posted compensation range of $32.17 - $46.65 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
Position Summary:
- This position is responsible for the processing of credentials, applications, and reappointment applications for members of the Medical and Allied Health Staff, including processing of temporary privileges. The position is responsible for ensuring all license, certifications, professional liability
information, and other required documentation is current and on file. - In addition, the position is responsible for handling various clerical and secretarial duties, as assigned. Incumbents in this position shall comply with all applicable laws and rules including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and Dignity Health policies and procedures that apply to his/her job responsibilities, seek guidance when in doubt, promptly report any potential or suspected violation of Dignity Health Standards of Conduct, Dignity Health policy or procedure or applicable laws/regulations and when requested, assist Dignity Health personnel in investigating all allegations of violation. When called upon, the incumbent shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement, monitor and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Must have two (2) years experience in a medical staff office with credentialing experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, word perfect, typing, correct English usage, ability to take and transcribe minutes.
- This position requires high school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) cerification preferred.
- Credentialing experience highly preferred.
