The posted compensation range of $78.90 - $87.11 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
**$15K Sign on Bonus, $3K Employee Referral Bonus and potential Relocation Assistance Available**
As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.
Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
- Assists physicians with scrub and operates x-ray table as needed.
- Monitors patients during procedures via EKG and hemodynamic data.
- Shaves patients and performs aseptic skin prep.
- Sets up sterile field, trays and table for invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
- Stocks rooms.
- Completes charge documents.
Job Requirements
Required
- Graduate of an American Medical Association approved school for Radiologist Technologists.
- Must have 2 years’ experience in invasive vascular procedures or Minimum of 1 year in area of related field
- Medical Radiographer: CA
- Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
- Basic Life Support - CPR through American Heart Association
Basic knowledge of EKG recognition and interpretation.
Knowledge of film quality control standards.
Ability to understand and practice aseptic technique.
Complete annual safety training.
Complete and maintain department specific training.
Preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years combined experience in healthcare industry
