Residency Program Coordinator
The posted compensation range of $36.00 - $45.74 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Under indirect control the incumbent performs a wide variety of responsible, complex and confidential work in coordinating the residency program. the position requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of national accreditation policies and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. The incumbent will continually assess and direct a wide range of programmatic issues including long range planning, recruiting trainees, developing projects, analyzing administrative workflow, maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees regarding a range of issues, and managing internal and external program relations. Supervises the Clerk classification.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three to five years of office administration experience
- AA degree in a related field is required (experience may be accepted in lieu of degree)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to organize information; ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality; ability to make decisions independently or to escalate issues as needed
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Office administration experience in a healthcare environment preferred
- BA degree in related field preferred
