Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Program Aide, you will be a pivotal connector, actively enhancing the patient experience and ensuring seamless operation of our essential programs.

Every day, you will deliver compassionate care and support within group settings, facilitate critical transportation for patients and resources, provide direct information and assistance, and execute key administrative and event support tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will excel at communication, demonstrate outstanding organizational skills, embody a proactive and empathetic approach, and possess a strong dedication to enriching the lives of our patients.

  • Assists in the ambulation, motivation, Reality Orientation and ADL's of the participants
  • Assists in recreational activities and leads general group exercises, under the direction of the Activity Coordinator
  • Assists with providing support and encouragement to participants and caregivers
  • Assists with problem solving and enhancing communication among participants, caregivers and staff
  • Assists with maintaining cleanliness of activity area and kitchen, ensuring that soiled towels are removed to laundry daily
  • Recognizes situations that should be called to the attention of the professional staff

Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • One (1) year recent work experience with public


Preferred

  • Two (2)years of working with the elderly and disabled in a like setting
