The posted compensation range of $31.08 - $34.03 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
Positions Summary:
The Unit Coordinator II is a caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients ranging in age from 30 days to geriatric. Responsibility is for a designated time frame. The Unit Coordinator II will provide safe, therapeutic care for our patients by the monitoring of CCU patients, Step-Down Unit patients, and patients on telemetry, by her/his self, the environment, and other health care team members with the use of multidisciplinary processes.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- One year experience in an acute care nursing environment (May waive based on operational needs)
- Current BLS certification through an American Heart Association provider
- Completion of Unit Coordinator Training modules when lacking experience, knowledge of Medical Terminology and Dysrhythmia monitoring experience or education
- Previous experience as a unit coordinator
