Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Unit Coordinator II/Technician is a caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric. Responsibility is for a designated time frame. The Unit Coordinator II/Tech will help provide safe therapeutic care for our patients under the guidance of the Registered Nurse Physicians Assistant Family Nurse Practitioner and Physician. Other health care team members will be utilized with the multidisciplinary processes.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Unit Coordinator II/Tech EMT experience or equivalent level of experience in an acute care facility
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 2 years experience as a Unit Coordinator II/Tech EMT experience or equivalent level of experience in an acute care facility
- 2 years of college and complete comptenecy training for the Unit Coordinator II/ED Tech position in the Emergency Dept
