Job Summary and Responsibilities
As Registered Nurse (RN), you are a professional caregiver assuming full responsibility and accountability for patient assignments. Leveraging your expertise and therapeutic use of self, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality care that profoundly impacts patient well-being and recovery.
Every day, with the collaboration with other health care team members, you will provide individualized, comprehensive care, meticulously implementing patient plans while assisting the team in holistic care with an awareness of cost containment and time management.
To be successful in this role, you will possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm for excellence in our fast-paced environment.
- Performs routine physical/psychosocial assessment to collect basic data: follows the written plan of care, standards, practice guidelines, utilizes pathways, which includes notifying physicians as appropriate
- Formulates a plan of care for individual needs, including patient population needs and participates in the planning of routine transitional health care needs (i.e. treatment options, patient placement options)
- Adapts planned educational programs and information to individual patients and family by modifying teaching strategies or content and integrates education during the delivery of patient care
- Ensures efficiency in the delivery of care to determine immediate priorities and to offer solutions for problems
- Makes independent clinical decisions based on knowledge drawn from education and experience
- Actively advocates for patient rights, identifies potential conflict and seeks counsel for resolution of conflict

- Associate Of Nursing From an accredited school of nursing
- Three years recent hospital experienceand/or previous nursing practiceexperience
- Registered Nurse: CA
- Basic Life Support - CPR
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Certified Ostomy Care Nurse, within 6 - months
- Certified Wound Care Nurse, within 6 - months
- Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse, within 6 - months
- Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse, within 6 - months
Preferred
- Bachelors Of Nursing From an accredited school of nursing, upon hire
- Critical RN Adult/Neonatal/Pediatric/Acute, upon hire
