Responsibilities
The Patient Account Representative II is responsible for providing timely and efficient follow-up to all parties necessary to resolve any issues related to patient billing consistent with the mission and philosophy of CHW Medical Foundation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three years minimum experience of administrative and/or customer service in a professional medical billing office.
- Understanding of professional claims and billing procedures.
- High School diploma required or GED.
- Ability to read and explain an explanation of benefits (EOB) for HMO and FFS patients. Ability to read and explain benefits and co-payment information. Ability to communicate effectively during difficult situations. Working knowledge of computers and demonstrated proficiency in using e-mail systems, Internet and MS office software applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 Month experience with IDX
***This position is remote/work from home. Training will be provided in person for up to 3 months in Rancho Cordova, CA.
