The posted compensation range of $24.85 - $41.86 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As a member of the Transport Crew, assists in meeting the physical and emotional needs of ill and injured patients. Promotes safe and efficient operation of Flight For Life.
Job RequirementsIn addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- One year experience paramedic skills preferred.
License/Certifications Requirements:
- Current Colorado State Paramedic Certification and National Registry certification as a Paramedic. Must maintain currency in all certifications required by CAMTS (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems) required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support from the American Heart Association required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate) required.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification) required.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PHTLS (Pre hosp Trauma Life Support) and STABLE within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Completion of Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVOC or CVEO) within 6 months of hire/transfer AND Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass the annual driving record review for safe vehicle operations required.
