Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Occupational Therapist, you will help patients navigating daily functional limitations assess, develop, and carry out personalized plans of care so they can improve their daily life, regain independence, and achieve their recovery goals.

Every day you will collaborate 1:1 with patients during dedicated 60-minute sessions, seeing between 4 to 6 patients daily for initial evaluations, re-evaluations, or treatments. You will be expected to work seamlessly alongside physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other health professionals to provide comprehensive care and deliver regular patient progress updates to physicians.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong clinical assessment skills, thrive in a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team environment, and be dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered, one-on-one therapy.

  • Provide treatments to patients focusing on increasing range of motion, strengthening, and maintaining balance during daily activities
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and customize it as needed
  • Document all evaluations, treatments, and any changes to the treatment plan
Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program 

  • Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting

  • Licensed to practice occupational therapy in the State of Arizona

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification

Preferred

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in appropriate clinical area 

  • Two (2) years progressive experience in clinical area performing patient clinical care 

  • Prior use of electronic health record
