The posted compensation range of $21.70 - $29.84 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. - Act as a resource to all clients, providers and the community.
- Attend community meetings and health fairs to understand community issues and build relationships with community members.
- Distribute flyers, brochures, or other informational or educational documents to inform members of a targeted community.
- Refer community members to needed health services.
- Provides one to one coaching to those individuals desiring this service.
- Teach classes or otherwise disseminate health information to groups, targeted families or individuals in a manner consistent with cultural norms
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
- High School diploma/GED
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle highly confidential information essential.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities and manage work within timeframes, read and analyze technical material, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, positive mental attitude.
- Already persuing or completed Community Health Worker (CHW) training through ASU.
- AZ DL
Preferred:
- Bachelors Degree
