The posted compensation range of $41.14 - $61.20 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
Performs,Echocardiogram procedure's including Transthoracic Echocardiograms, Transesophageal
Echocardiograms with Cardiologist, Stress Echocardiogram's with Cardiologist. Completes Echocardiogram
reports on Heartlab and process's finalized Echocardiogram reports for Medical billing. Performs Echocardiograms
requiring independent judgement and Initiative. Participates with ICAEL accreditation and QA. The Technologist
will assist with a teaching environment with students and new employee's.
- Verifies order's entered into Cerner by ordering Physician for the examination.
- Attain's B/P, Height and Weight and billable diagnosis to complete the exam from Cerner.
Enter's all of the pertinent information into the Ultrasound machine. - When patient enters room Sonographer will ask patient for date of birth and first and last name and if patient has a Cardiologist.
- Sonographer will explain the echocardiogram to the patient or patient's family.
- Perform the Echocardiogram following ICAEL standard's and Protocol. Sonographer will send the attained images into the PAC's system.
- Sonograpaher will then complete a preliminary report for the reading Cardiologist.
Job Requirements
Required
High School Graduate/GED
higher leveldegree and completion of anechocardiography program
Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, within 12 - months or
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen, within 12 - months
Preferred
One (1) year experience as anechocardiography sonographer
