Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
The Change Management Consultant offers an opportunity to play a key role in driving organizational success and transformation at CommonSpirit Health. The Change Management Consultant will be responsible for leading and implementing organizational change initiatives at CommonSpirit Health to ensure seamless transitions and the successful adoption of new practices, processes, and systems. This role will work closely with senior leadership, department heads, and key stakeholders to assess change impacts, identify risks, and design tailored change management strategies that align with the organization's goals.
The ideal candidate has extensive change management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders while navigating complex changes.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
- Lead and implement organizational change initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of new practices and processes throughout the organization.
- Partner with senior leadership, department heads, TLC Delivery team and other key stakeholders to assess change impacts, identify risks, and design strategies that minimize disruption.
- Develop and implement change management plans focusing on employee engagement, communication, and training to support effective change adoption.
- Reduce resistance to change by fostering strong employee buy-in and improving the overall effectiveness of change initiatives.
- Align change management efforts with business objectives and organizational goals, driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to guide complex changes, addressing challenges with strategic and solution-driven approaches.
- Provide expert coaching and support to leaders and employees at all levels, helping them navigate and lead through change effectively.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to change management and develop metrics to evaluate the success and impact of change initiatives.
- Design and deliver advanced training programs and workshops that support change initiatives, build resilience, and equip stakeholders, senior executives, and employees with the skills necessary for successful adoption.
- Stay updated on change management best practices and methodologies
- Contribute to the evolution of the change management practice by developing new strategies, enhancing materials, and supporting the future vision of the organization.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
8+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, or consulting.
Required Licensure and Certifications
Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP, or similar) is highly desirable.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience in leading and managing organizational change initiatives.
- Ability to design and implement change management plans and strategies that align with business objectives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
- Experience fostering employee engagement and minimizing resistance during change efforts.
