System Manager Care Base Centralized Operations
The posted compensation range of $44.73 - $64.85 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
This Manager role is onsite at our Virtual Command Center in Phoenix, AZ.
The System Manager, Centralized Operations implements and manages processes, projects and staff to achieve operational efficiencies for the Care Base services within the National Care Base. The role is responsible for coordinating and driving systems and programs focused on system strategies, performance improvement and increased organization effectiveness across the continuum of care within CommonSpirit Health and outside of CommonSpirit Health using the technology of the various programs. This role leads and directly supervises assigned Care Base staff members.
- Directly leads and supervises assigned staff members; responsible for recruitment, performance management, development and engagement. Ensuring appropriate staffing and productivity to meet the requirements of the Care Base programs.
- Conveys the need and aligns those involved at the facilities and service levels around plans and goals. Including provider, patient, and staff education on the technology and workflows for the Care Base programs.
- Facilitates activities and meetings as needed to ensure rapid forward movement of sustainable solutions. In collaboration with the national, regional and hospital based key stakeholders, creates project plans including implementation, communication, education and accountability plans.
- Provides education and training for teams across the continuum of care on change management related to Care Base operations and applications within and outside the organization.
- Assists in developing the annual operating plan and schedule for strategic implementation across the continuum of care.
- Is the subject matter expert for relevant CommonSpirit Care Base applications and is able to manage the application and support to the Care Base leadership, Customers, and end users to provide excellent support for Patient Care across the Continuum.
- Conveys the business need and aligns with patients, providers and leaders at the facilities supported around plans and goals.
- Responsible for reviewing and approving timecards for all assigned Care Base staff.
- Ensure Care Base Staff are informed of any department and organizational changes through leading standing team meetings and communications.
- Support all current and future Care Base programs both onsite and virtual.

Qualifications
Required Experience and Education
- Minimum of five (5) years in the healthcare field, with a focus on leadership, administration and management of care continuum, Command Center Operations, Call Center and/or Patient Throughput experience is required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in healthcare/business related field; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
- Patient Flow, Call Center Phone System, and On-Call Scheduling application experience,
- After Hours Support
- Employee Relations,
- Process development
- Proficient in Google Workspace, EHR systems (Epic and Cerner)
- Remote patient monitoring platforms and workflows
