Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Supervisor of Neuroscience Research Registries, under direction of Barrow Neuro Analytics Center (BNAC) leadership, you will be responsible for processes, and projects as assigned and assists with staff supervision and support.

Every day you will  also be responsible for the indirect supervision of professional, research, technical and administrative support staff assigned to the support assigned programs, projects and/or processes.

To be successful in this role, you will oversee day-to-day operational management of all activities and functions in support of assigned processes, projects, or program(s). This includes development, implementation, and evaluation of operating policies, procedures and standards; determining service levels commitments; developing and monitoring budgets; providing technical advice and/or oversight to staff or other departments; estimating and coordinating program/unit activities and associated costs; and executing required project activities. The Supervisor will also be responsible to engage in the support of professional growth and education activities for their assigned department and/or supervised staff. This role may require participation in additional assignments and/or activities as assigned.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supports the design, development, and operationalization of a centralized, compliant data repository to support translational research, clinical trials, and population-based studies.
  • Promotes data-driven research by enabling secure data access and integration across departments, accelerating analytics, and supporting secondary data use.
  • Monitors project/program activities on a daily basis and ensures that timely communication, and financial accounting activities are being tracked/performed.
  • Ensures that all projects and programs follow established Dignity Health IT and Research policies and procedures, and departmental guidelines, within the construct of the BNI co- management agreement with Dignity Health.
  • Serves as liaison with internal department staff, managers, and facility executives and participates in facilitating team meetings, which includes creating agendas, identifying guest speakers, and engaging staff in discussion.
  • Responsible for initiating and maintaining vendor relationships.
Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field 
  • Three (3) years of relevant technical and business experience in the management of electronic database capture for Clinical trial/registry studies/Clinical research
