The posted compensation range of $37.40 - $55.63 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Provides oversight and leadership of the daily operations of the department. With department Director and Practice Manager has the responsibility for staffing, operations, human resource development, quality patient care, efficiency, and financial outcomes. Within the faculty practice that includes performance of patient care activities and customer service. Supports and implements administrative policies and procedures. Ensures compliance of regulatory and quality programs.
- Supervises all assigned staff to meet the needs of patients and their families. Ensuring staffing and supplies are appropriate.
- Performs personnel-related functions (hiring, interviewing, terminating, disciplining, training, etc.). Coordinates new hire process and files are complete.
- Submits performance assessments to Practice Manager and director for approval prior to due date. Evaluates work performance of staff and makes recommendations for merit increases, promotions and disciplinary actions.
- Holds regular staff meetings and huddles to maintain open communication within the department.
- In collaboration with the Practice Manager, counsels employees and implements disciplinary action as necessary according to severity of infraction utilizing organization personnel policies.
- Plan and maintains a staffing in the clinic which provides for the implementation of quality patient care.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM
- Associates degree, ADN
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in clinical or practice operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of EMR systems and MS office
- Registered Nurse AZ
- American Heart Association BLS
PREFERRED
- Bachelor's of Nursing
- Supervisory experience
- Membership in a national nursing organization
- Advanced knowledge and utilization of word processing and spreadsheets
