Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Security Officer-System Offices, you will secure, guard, and protect property and grounds by patrolling the interior and exterior of the facility, looking for unauthorized individuals and unsafe working conditions.

Every day you will patrol assigned areas via foot, guard against fire, damage, and theft, monitor for policy violations, recognize and report suspicious or hazardous situations, provide information and assistance, maintain equipment, and identify unlocked doors or blocked entrances/exits.

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong observational skills, a proactive approach to security, a keen eye for detail in identifying hazards, and the ability to maintain continuous vigilance while patrolling to ensure the safety and security of the System Offices.

  • Monitor entrances to guard against theft and maintain security of the facility.
  • Patrols, guards and secures property and grounds. Monitors assigned areas for possible violations and regulations.
  • Conveys information orally or in written to individuals or groups to ensure they understand the message. Listens and responds appropriately to calls.
  • Identifies problems/concerns and take appropriate action to resolve the problem. Keeping I mind the available facts, constraints, and anticipated consequences.
Job Requirements

Required

  • High School Graduate and Minimum of one year of experience as a security officer in a hospital, healthcare facility, or large office setting, upon hire or
  • High School GED One (1) year or more of security training/experience in an corporate office setting. , upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 60 Days
