Job Summary and Responsibilities

Our Security Dispatcher plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of the hospital premises and its occupants. You will be responsible for dispatching Security, Facilities and Environmenta Services requests as designated and providing project coordination as required.

  • Assess complex situations, consults with appropriate parties and makes decisions in a timely manner.
  • Purchasing supplies as needed by department.
  • Identifies and suggest procedural and process changes to automate, streamline and/or improve processes.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and files to track and maintain information.
  • Log in all incoming calls; log all transporting of patients by assignment as assigned by transport; log name of person assigned to service call. Maintain services request log.

Job Requirements

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One (1) year of clerical or customer service experience.
