Research Project Manager
The posted compensation range of $32.38 - $48.17 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
This position is accountable for objectives and life cycle relative to specific projects. The Project Manager works in conjunction with leadership and colleagues to reach optimal outcomes.
Essential Functions
- Work in conjunction with leadership to analyze and determine ongoing business opportunities and goals.
- Develop project plans/schedules that represent the appropriate level of detail and task interdependency.
- Manage change and/or conflicts within projects in an effective and timely manner.
- Provide leadership in process improvement and other activities in cooperation with department leadership.
- Manage expectations and relationships between multiple departments and organizations.
- Facilitate project meetings.
- Oversees implementation of action items and works with sub teams as needed.
- Professionally communicate verbally/written with broad spectrum of audiences.
- Become the application and/or program subject expert by gaining knowledge and cultivating relationships from a variety of audiences throughout the organizations.
- Leads/manages projects timely, clearly and concisely organizes projects.
- Collects, reports and formats statistical data in collaboration with customers.
- Collaborates within organization to share information obtained from department work and link to regulatory bstandards.
- Identifies quality indicators, appropriate data sources, enters data as needed and generates reports to facilitate bclinical decision making or quality review.
- Assists in design of reports generated from health information systems to support decision making.
- Monitor contracts for updates and amendments.
- Initiate new contracts and amendments.
- Communicates with stakeholders and legal counsel regarding contractual obligations that affect operations.
- Audits contracts per organization policy.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelors Of Nursing business, healthcare administration or related area upon hire and 3 years project management required.
Masters Of Nursing business, healthcare administration or related area preferred.
Experience in healthcare or research setting preferred
