Job Summary and Responsibilities

The candidate will work on research projects related to stroke cerebrovascular diseases anesthesia vascular diseases or trauma. The candidate will be involved in the basic and translational research projects that utilize pre-clinical models cell-culture archived de-identified human and animal tissues and other techniques. In addition the candidate will be required to attend training courses on PreClinical Research Use of Radioisotopes and other subjects that are pertinent to the research projects. The candidate will participate in St. Joseph’s Hospital and Barrow Neurological Institute research courses and seminars. There will be no direct patient contact.

  • MD degree or equivalent in a relevant field of endeavor, upon hire


Preferred

  • MD degree in a relevant field of endeavor and beyond minimum requirements,experience writing research reports concerning own work and familiarity with a biomedical discipline.
