The Ivy Brain Tumor Center at Barrow Neurological Institute is a non-conventional, non-profit research program offering state-of-the-art clinical trials for patients with the most aggressive form of brain cancer. It is home to the largest collection of Phase 0 trials for brain tumors in the world. The Ivy Brain Tumor Center is currently recruiting highly motivated and driven Phase 0 Navigator / Clinical Research Assistant to join our team focusing on cutting edge Phase 0/II clinical trials for brain tumors at BNI. The Phase 0 Clinical Trials Navigator will be responsible for visiting Barrow Brain and Spine neurosurgeon clinics each week to identify individuals who may be clinical trial candidates. And performing routine clinical research activities under the direction of the principal investigator, research nurse clinician, and research specialist. This individual must be an effective communicator with an understanding of clinic operations, as well as some familiarity with brain tumor patients.

Qualifications:

• HS diploma and related college or certification course work required.

• Associate's Degree, preferred
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting
• Demonstrates excellent oral, written & telephone communication skills, along with tact, diplomacy, and strong customer service orientation.
• Maintains effective working relationships with physicians, administration, BBS staff members, and hospital personnel.
• Knowledge and understanding of human research policies, regulations, procedures, and standards according to FDA, ICH, GCP guidelines, preferred
