The posted compensation range of $30.91 - $45.98 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
Job Summary / Purpose
This position works within the Payroll Technology services team and acts as a senior analyst working as a liaison between the Payroll Operations team and IT in order to ensure all payroll systems are functioning, optimized and upgraded across the CommonSpirit Health organization. This position will be a senior point of contact for the Payroll Technology services team as well as vendors and business partners, driving the maintenance, customization and upgrading of all payroll systems on both the legacy Dignity Health and CHI systems until full system alignment is achieved. This position will spend a proportionate amount of time leading projects and performing complex system change impact and data analyses, providing functional support and deep expertise to Payroll Operations team including process training, and remainder of time on technical items such as system upgrades, system integration and opportunities for implementing automation and streamlining business processes.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate report development with all other report analysts.
- Develop custom reports from Microsoft Sql Server systems (develop, publish, maintain, troubleshoot)
- Develop custom reports for data visualization tools systems (develop, publish, maintain, troubleshoot)
- Update/maintain Productivity system tables and settings including RVUs for productivity volumes
- Provide tier 2 support for Front end Productivity systems as well as time and attendance, and scheduling systems.
- Implement system change requests and troubleshoot production incidents.
- Assist and Test with Time Keeping system upgrades, patches, and other technical projects as well as all integrations
- Communicate with Vendor(s) on system updates/break fixes.
- Troubleshoot data issues, handle integration errors and system malfunctions ensuring all errors are researched, and reported to leadership, HR and IT when necessary.
- Execute ad hoc reporting for internal and outside legal counsel, and senior management.
- Ensures data integrity and quality of all data within the productivity system.
- Continually acquires knowledge of specific application software, trains team members, communicates with internal users, and leads the development and planning of processes to address and solve user's business and system needs.
- Research and implement best practices from a technology standpoint utilizing delivered functionality where possible as assigned by leadership.
- Identify automation opportunities for taking manual work out and streamlining.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Minimum of 5-7 years of payroll experience from a technical background required. Minimum of 3-5 years of project and team leadership experience. Requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience

Skills required include: ability to work independently and under tight deadlines; effectively lead teams; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills; strong computer application skills; analytical and quantitative skills; and ability to work and communicate effectively at all corporate and service area levels.
- Hands-on knowledge of Symplr (API) Time, Scheduling and Productivity
- Hands-on knowledge of UKG TIme and Scheduling Systems
- Expert knowledge of report writing tools such as Microsoft Sql Server Reporting Services
- Expert Knowledge of Data Visualization tools (PowerBI, Looker, Tableau)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Advanced Powershell
