The posted compensation range of $18.38 - $25.28 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Additionally, the Patient Care Technician supports efforts to reduce patient length of stay by utilizing the computerized Bed Tracking System, performing discharge duties promptly, and ensuring timely communication of discharge information. The position includes assisting nurses and physicians with diagnostic tests and clinical procedures, while consistently communicating changes in a patient’s condition to the appropriate medical staff. All patient interactions and observations must be accurately documented in the medical record. The technician may also assist with the retrieval and delivery of medications in accordance with unit standards.

Qualifications
Minimum:
- Completion of nursing assistant program, or EMT program, or completion of first block of nursing program
- AZ Certified Nursing Assistant or Licensed Nursing Assistant OR AZ EMT license.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support
