Responsibilities
Marketing Manager – Ivy Brain Tumor Center
The Ivy Brain Tumor Center at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ, is a nonprofit translational research program that employs bold, early-phase clinical trial strategies to identify new treatments for aggressive brain tumors, including glioblastoma. The Ivy Center’s Phase 0 clinical trials program is the largest in the world and enables personalized care in a fraction of the time and cost associated with traditional drug development. In addition, unlike conventional clinical trials focusing on single drugs, the Ivy Center’s accelerated program tests therapeutic combinations matched to individual patients. We leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of hope and healing.
Key responsibilities include:
● Marketing Strategy & Execution: Provide leadership in developing marketing strategies and overseeing project and program planning.
● Campaign Management: Plan and execute traditional and digital marketing campaigns to grow brand awareness and engagement.
● Physician & Market Outreach: Expand business growth through physician-to-physician marketing and market development initiatives.
● Website & Digital Presence: Oversee website strategy, content, and best practices for IvyBrainTumorCenter.org, as well as manage social media campaigns and channels.
● Events & Advocacy: Plan and lead internal and external events while serving as the primary contact for disease advocacy groups within the brain tumor service line.
● Creative & Media Production: Manage campaign video and photo shoots, collaborate with vendors and freelancers, and oversee design and content for marketing materials, including donor communications.
● Public Relations & Communications: Serve as the primary contact for PR initiatives, including news releases and media outreach.
● Clinical Trial Marketing & Patient Recruitment: Develop marketing assets, coordinate IRB approvals for clinical trial recruitment efforts, and lead promotional efforts to drive patient enrollment.
● Analytics & Performance Tracking: Establish project plans, budgets, and tracking processes while analyzing and reporting on marketing performance.
● Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Barrow Neurological Institute Marketing Team to align digital marketing and content efforts.
● Team Leadership: Lead the Ivy Center Marketing Team to ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and drive impactful marketing strategies in support of the Ivy Center’s mission.  The Ivy Center Marketing Manager will report to the Barrow Neurological Institute Marketing Director, and the Ivy Leadership Team. This team is looking for an individual who is eager to take on a wide breadth of new marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is someone who will build bridges and enthusiastically work with members of his or her marketing team, within the Ivy Center, and across Barrow Neurological Institute and Barrow Neurological Foundation.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in business, marketing, marketing communications or related field.


Education
Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree required.


Master's degree preferred.


Required: Marketing management, account management, project management or related capabilities. Selfstarter, requiring minimal supervision; excellent planning, organizational and team management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including
proficiencies in marketing communications, digital and social communications. Ability to work collaboratively with marketing team members, business partners and vendors, as well as with administrative and clinical leaders. Highly organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment required.
