Responsibilities

As Marketing Manager for Barrow Neurological Foundation (BNF), this position is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of marketing plans, activities, and promotional initiatives to align with and achieve organizational goals. Working closely with digital, content, and communication teams, the Marketing Manager will lead project management efforts to ensure timely progression for approvals, production, and completion of marketing initiatives and projects. This position will oversee reporting and tracking of departmental metrics, as well as function as the point of contact for internal and external resources, business partners, and vendor relationships.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides leadership in marketing strategy development, as well as project and program planning; creates strategic, tactical and implementational plans.
  • Develops, implements, and manages marketing initiatives, campaigns, and other promotional activities in accordance with marketing plans. Establishes project plans, budgets, and tracking processes. Evaluates and reports results.
  • Works with marketing team members as well as business development, service line leaders and program administrators to develop marketing plans, activities, and promotions programs.
  • Works with designated advertising agencies, CRM partners, design consultants, writers, freelancers, printers, and other external sources to create, develop and implement marketing programs and tactics; manages business partner and vendor relationships and agreements.
  • Develops and manages a variety of relationships and resources, both internal and external, in the application of expanded marketing capabilities.
  • Establishes evaluative criteria for monitoring the effects of marketing and related communications to help ensure the desired results and its appropriate tracking.
  • Oversee development, execution, and reporting of digital marketing strategic plans inclusive of email marketing, website development and content management, social media engagement, paid advertising, and analytics.
  • Stay up-to-date on developments and trends in digital technology and marketing automation to provide innovative strategies and use case recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Education Required:

  • 4+ years of experience in business, marketing, marketing communications or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree required.

Special Skills Required:

  • Marketing management, account management, project management or related capabilities.
  • Self-starter requiring minimal supervision; excellent planning, organizational and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiencies in marketing communications, digital and social communications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with marketing team members, business partners and vendors, as well as with administrative and clinical leaders.
  • Highly organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Education, Training, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Master's Degree
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Adobe, SalesForce, Google, and Hootsuite.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and online advertising.
