IT PACS Associate Systems Administrator
The posted compensation range of $32.08 - $46.51 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
The Associate PACS Administrator provides basic system administration of the Systems utilized for display, retention, and interpretation of medical imaging exams. Exercises judgment within well-defined procedures to solve moderately complex problems with a limited number of variables. They have a solid foundation of knowledge and skill sets for supported platforms/products and environments; focus primarily on maintenance and support of existing applications. Has limited project assignments that are small in scope and low in complexity.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
Provide technical support of Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and related medical imaging applications infrastructure.
Support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PACS and related medical imaging applications software and hardware components.
Assists in the resolution and documentation of major incidents and outages to our production environment.
Monitor and optimize PACS performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies.
Implements process changes, collects data, and makes recommendations to expedite workflow.
Monitors systems, interfaces, and integration pieces to include daily QC reports.
Maintains an up-to-date understanding and working knowledge of the processes involved.
Responds appropriately to requests and concerns from users or others affected by the systems.
Informs all medical imaging leadership of changes, problems, and upgrades to PACS and related medical imaging applications
Provide user training and technical support for PACS-related applications and activities.
Implement and enforce data security protocols to safeguard patient information within the PACS and associated medical imaging applications.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate PACS with other healthcare information systems.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance PACS capabilities.
Generate and maintain documentation related to PACS configuration and procedures.
Assist in the planning and execution of PACS upgrades and migrations.
Covers call and meet all SLAs.
Must live within one hour of one of the facilities that the employee supports.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications
- 100% onsite position
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience in Medical Imaging related field, computer science, Health Informatics, clinical imaging technology
- 2+ years of experience in a technical or clinical role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of medical imaging systems, networking, and Windows operating systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
