Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Imaging Guidance Technician at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, you will be a highly specialized and essential member of our clinical team, pivotal in performing advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Every day you will retrieve MRI/CT scans, set up the navigation system and make adjustments prior to and during surgical procedures. While monitoring and reportings issues with navigation equipment or processes, using critical real-time guidance and accurate diagnosis.
To be successful in this role, your ability to maintain a steadfast commitment to patient safety advocacy is crucial. Ensuring patient safety is of the utmost importance.
- Maintains navigation instrumentation and equipment, calibrating same equipment as needed
- Retrieves appropriate scans as needed
- Assumes responsibility for accurate records and results
- Assists throughout the surgical procedure by making equipment adjustments as directed by the physician
- Responsible for room set up and equipment break down

Job RequirementsRequired
- High School Graduate or GED
- One (1) year recent clinical or Operating Room experience
- American Heart Association BLS
Preferred
- Experience working with Image Guidance Systems
