The posted compensation range of $18.00 - $21.40 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Assists with the efficient operation of the department. The job is responsible for supporting patient care in the performance of reception, support, and general clerical duties including receiving incoming calls and visitors, facilitating communication among staff and maintaining department records.
Job Responsibilities:
- Address staffing needs upon request.
- Monitors nursing personnel information to keep accurate and up to date.
- Demonstrates ability to use available software programs.
- Contributes to the efficient operations of the unit and department.
- Follows the directions of the nurse manager by collecting unit data to identify trends and improve unit outcomes.
- Demonstrates a commitment to growth and maintenance of competency.
- Greets and assists all customers, physicians, patients, visitors and employees in a friendly and timely manner. Facilitates and directs communication among visitors, employees and physicians within the assigned work area. Assists physicians in locating patients, staff and information. Maintains and updates phone list/database/etc.
Qualifications
Minimum:
High School diploma or GED
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in daily and long-term assignments.
Self-motivated, well organize, and detail-oriented.
