Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 400 providers and 1,200 total employees that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic, research and leadership roles.
DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.

Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Director of Clinic Operations is responsible for leading, planning, directing, monitoring and improving the overall performance for assigned clinics to achieve excellence in the delivery of daily operations. Engages staff and cultivates a positive clinic culture that prioritizes humankindness and patient- centric care. Accountable for operational, financial, clinical, quality, and business development activities across multiple disciplines.
This key position includes administrative responsibility for the Department of Cardiovascular Services. The department includes medical & interventional cardiology, structural heart, heart failure and academic fellowship services across multiple inpatient and clinic locations in the Greater Phoenix area. The Director will partner with the Chief of Cardiovascular Services, collaborate closely with Market Cardiovascular Service Line and Hospital leaders, and report directly to the Chief Operating Officer of Dignity Health Medical Group.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversees the development of assigned clinics and regularly manages improvement projects and is accountable for operational, financial, and business development activities.
- Develops, analyzes, and implements processes and systems to enhance customer service across assigned clinic(s) and takes ownership of and drives needed improvement in all aspects of operations, including clinic productivity, patient satisfaction/experience, provider satisfaction/experience, community efforts and serves as the local representative for the area.
- Responsible for financial management of the assigned clinic's financial operation budgets, including forecasting gross and net revenues, visit projections, and expenditures.
- Plans, coordinates and effectively leads assigned clinics to meet patient care, administrative, operational, and support requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience in lieu of the degree.
- Five (5) years experience in related field.
- Three (3) years management experience.
Special Skills Required:
- Working knowledge of community clinic/health center operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Cardiovascular Services.
- Experience in large integrated health systems.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace.
