Responsibilities
As a Cook Lead, you will lead the preparation of food for the patients, staff, and visitors at our healthcare facility, following safe cooking techniques. You will take your skills and knowledge to the next level by championing food quality standards of appearance, taste, temperature, and sanitation while leading and inspiring others. You understand that most guests at our facility dine with us for a reason, and take great pride in giving them one less thing to worry about.
To be successful as a Cook Lead, you will use your leadership skills to mentor others and various cooking techniques and methods to prepare meals that meet our customers’ expectations. Ultimately, a top-notch cook lead should be able to handle multiple food orders without compromising on quality while being an inspirational leader.

Responsibilities
- Prepares food for patients, staff, and visitors following safe cooking techniques.
- Supports quality control measures such as recipe adherence and food quality consistency.
- Maintains kitchen area to state required sanitary standards.
- Completes all tasks on duty while adhering to safety standards and policies of the hospital.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum Experience:
- Four (4) years food service experience
- Two (2) years hospital nutrition experience
Minimum Licensure:
- Food Handlers Permit within 30-days of hire
