Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to join our dynamic cardiology team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in providing advanced diagnostic imaging, specializing in Echocardiography, and supporting a wide range of cardiology procedures. This position requires a professional who thrives independently, possesses strong analytical skills, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care through precise data acquisition and interpretation.
What You'll Do:
- Perform high-quality Echocardiography examinations, ensuring accurate data capture and preliminary interpretation.
- Support and assist physicians during various cardiology procedures, demonstrating advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Operate and maintain complex electronic, clinical, and computer equipment with precision.
- Accurately document findings and patient information, maintaining meticulous records.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff, ensuring clear communication regarding patient status and procedural details.
- Work autonomously and efficiently, managing workload and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Echocardiography.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Cardiology procedures as a Cardiovascular Technologist.
- Current registry in Adult Echocardiography OR registry eligible in one of the following: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT).
- Current AHA BLS certification (within one year of hire).
- Current AHA ACLS certification (within one year of hire).
- Exceptional independent work ethic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and oral English communication skills.
- Proven analytical and clerical abilities for effective patient care, data interpretation, and accurate documentation.
- Advanced knowledge of cardiology procedures and cardiac physiology.
- Proficiency in operating various types of electronic, clinical, and computer equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College-level courses in biology, chemistry, and electronics
