OR INVENTORY SPECIALIST
The posted compensation range of $17.28 - $26.79/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Essential Functions
1. Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating
orders/requisitions as needed
2. Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas
3.Monitors par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect
patient care
4. Identifies excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits; notifies supervisor of outdated or slow
moving inventory
5. Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items, and issues and credits materials
from the inventory management point‐of‐use system
6. Labels bins and handles requests to change pars; maintains clean and orderly stock locations.
Works in collaboration with reprocessing resources, leadership, and buyers to optimize usage of reprocessed
products; acts as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management for assigned high value areas, such
as Surgical Services, Cath Lab, EP and Imaging

Job Requirements
Education:High School Graduate or GED
General Studies: Upon hire - Minimum of three (3) years’ experience of inventory management or other relevant
experience
