The posted compensation range of $17.04 - $23.43 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Our Casual/PRN Pharmacy Technician or Student Pharmacist would be available and responsible to work at any and all of the CHI Health Retail Pharmacy locations (CUMC Bergan, Bellevue, Midlands, Florence, Immanuel, IMC FHC, LaVista, 132nd and Center, Valley View, Lakeside, West Broadway, 161st and Maple, Yankee Hill in Lincoln, Elkhorn, and 42nd and L).
As our Pharmacy Tech or Student Pharmacist, you’ll help our Pharmacists by safely assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications to help our patients feel better and recover from their illness or injury.
You’ll build trust in these interactions by helping fill and distribute medication unit-dose drugs along with performing medication exchange to the the designation nursing units.
To excel in this role, you must enjoy learning new concepts and researching information in real-time to provide solutions for real people. You should also continually look for ways to go above and beyond for our patients, delivering an exceptional experience.
- Retrieval of prescriptions from patients.
- Data and prescription entry.
- Prescription filling.
- Answer the phone for general customer service, prescription refills and resolves insurance problems.
- Works the cash register.
- Demonstrates work practices consistent with CHI Health and department-specific safety, security and infection control policies.
- Authorized to make entries in the medical record, consistent with and limited to the scope of the job duties and any applicable licensure.
Qualifications
Qualifications For Pharmacy Technician:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Nebraska
Qualifications For Pharmacy Student:
- Registered in a school of pharmacy, 1-2 years
- Must be registered in Nebraska as a Pharmacy Intern, registration must be held in the State of Nebraska
