St. John’s Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist II to join our dynamic team. We offer a rewarding work environment with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including bone scans, PET scans, SPECT scans, and thyroid uptake studies.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to established protocols.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Participate in quality assurance programs and continuing education activities.
Qualifications
- More than one (1) year previous experience as a nuclear medicine technician
- Current on continuing education units required by the licensing boards
- Demonstrates knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures in vivo and in vitro Radiopharmacy-dose calibration and calculations bio-routing of labeled products computers and some computer processing.
- Special training in Nuclear Medicine
- California Nuclear Medicine Technician certification (CT NMT)
- Current AHA CPR card (CT CPR BLS)
