Join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients! St. John's Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and organized Materials Management Tech II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of medical supplies and equipment throughout our hospital.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of medical supplies and equipment.
- Process purchase orders, receiving, and stocking of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of inventory management systems.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to identify and resolve supply chain issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Meets minimum competencies of Materials Management Tech I
- Three to six months of inventory management experience.
- An understanding of large ERP systems.
- Valid California driver license.
- Competent in Microsoft Word Outlook and basic computer operations.
- Six to twelve months related work experience in a hospital stockroom or warehouse preferred.
- Forklift operation certification and/or experience preferred.
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
