The posted compensation range of $39.18 - $58.28 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for coordinating and performing the Employee Health functions, including employee health screenings, processes new hire applicants, accurately documents health data, provides employee health education, participates in workplace health and safety programs, assists with Workers' Compensation claim management and provides clerical support coverage. In accordance with the mission and philosophy of CommonSpirit, the Employee Health Nurse is a licensed professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessment, planning, and evaluation of workplace health services for employees, volunteers, students and contractors. Incumbents in this position shall comply with all applicable laws and rules including the CommonSpirit Standards of Conduct, policies and procedures that apply to his/her job responsibilities. Seeks guidance within licensee’s scope of practice, promptly reports any potential or suspected violation of Commonspirit’s Standards of Conduct, policy or procedures, or applicable laws/regulations. The
Commonspirit incumbent shall participate with any investigation, risk evaluation, and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement, monitor, mitigate risk, and corrective action plans as outlined by compliance programs. Incumbent demonstrates proficiency in using Google
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivailent
- Current CA Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Minimum two years experience in Employee Health, ambulatory care, or occupational health nursing.
Preferred Requirements:
- Hospital Employee Health experience
- Associates degree in nursing
