The posted compensation range of $29.36 - $43.68 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Responsibilities
The Workers' Compensation Coordinator is responsible for directing, implementing and managing all aspects of the workers' compensation program for one or more facilities within a given Market. The position will provide advocacy and support for injured employees and influence safety investigation and loss prevention follow up with key stakeholders. This role will be responsible for understanding and communicating key policies and key metrics across all levels of the Market and Region.
- Manage the Return-to-Work Program to include: Coordinate participation in transitional duty and communicate/enforce the Transitional Duty policy, review medical reports for restrictions, encourage permanent placement in alternate positions and monitor for ADA and other regulatory compliance by referring to human resources timely
- Communicate claim and incident trending information to key stakeholders to facilitate and influence loss prevention and mitigation opportunities and programs
- Advocate and support injured employees
- Coordinate claim investigation and the completion of root cause analysis (RCAs) with supervisors, injured employees, witnesses and others to ensure appropriate loss prevention mitigation or safety corrections occur
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in workers’ compensation, employee safety or human resources required without degree.
