Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
This position is responsible for serving as a designated functional lead with oversight of the day to day activities of their
operations and team members. Provides management support to plan, organize and lead resources with assigned team
members; as well as functioning as an individual contributor within the department. Participates in operationalizing CHI
Health Strategic Initiatives and Priorities. Serves as a role model for ethical management behavior and promotes an
awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Core
Values of CHI Health.
ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Fulfills duties of assigned Technologist Role Description for designated work area.
2. Allocates and directs staffing needs to meet patient, unit/department and organizational needs and collaborates
with others to ensure overall staffing needs are met.
3. Aligns and coordinates day to day function to ensure positive financial productivity and the safety and quality of
the patient experience.
4. Completes staff rounding, conducts employee engagement action planning sessions, contribute to action plans
and delivers organizational/department communications.
5. Serves as technology super user.
6. Has the authority to interview, hire, orient, terminate, promote, train and conduct performance evaluations.
7. Manages performance including: setting goals, clarifying job expectations, monitoring performance progress,
providing feedback, recognizing performance, developing skills and addressing performance issues related to
work and our Core Values using corrective action.
8. Other duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 1
year experience in the discipline OR 3 years’ experience in the
discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experience

Required Education for Staff Job Levels
Required Licensure and Certifications

Registered in EEG
BLS or BLS instructor certification is required upon hire.


Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse and

multi-cultural environment.

PREFERRED Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Electro-Neurodiagnostics Technologist
School
Three years experience in an area of specialty
