Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Imaging Services Supervisor, you will thoughtfully oversee all specialized, administrative, and regulatory operations, ensuring seamless and patient-centered service delivery.

Every day, you will champion your team, proactively advocating for their needs, ideas, and concerns directly to leadership. Leveraging your exceptional communication skills, you will adeptly navigate challenging conversations and serve as a dedicated educator, utilizing every interaction to enhance understanding of patient, staff, and organizational needs.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate both competence and confidence, effectively managing your team through clear communication, robust performance management, strategic hiring, and comprehensive training initiatives.

  • Has the authority to interview, hire, orient, terminate, promote, train and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Assigns day-to-day work activities; directs the functional and technical job performance of team members.
  • Allocate and direct staffing needs to meet patient, unit, and department needs, and collaborate with others to ensure overall staffing needs are met.
  • Manage performance including: setting goals, clarifying job expectations, monitoring performance progress, providing feedback, recognize, developing skills and addressing performance issues related to work and our Commitments using corrective action.
  • Participates in recruitment, interviewing and hiring of new employees, addresses staff performance concerns including verbal and written warning as needed. Participates in new employee orientation and supports staff by providing and supervising continued education within the department. Participates in staff schedules and makes necessary modifications to meet minimum staffing levels.
  • Maintain a positive culture of engagement. Works with director/manager/leader to provide a positive work environment for all staff members.

Required

  • Graduate of a Radiology, Ultrasonography or Nuclear Medicine program, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and

  • Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire or

  • Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Quality Management, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Vascualr Inteventional Rad, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography, upon hire or
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, upon hire or
