As our Retail Pharmacy Tech, you’ll help our Pharmacists by safely assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications to help our community feel better and recover from their illness or injury.


Responsibilities
  • Retrieval of prescriptions from patients.
  • Data and prescription entry.
  • Prescription filling.
  • Answer the phone for general customer service, prescription refills and resolves insurance problems.
  • Works the cash register.
  • Demonstrates work practices consistent with CHI Health and department-specific safety, security and infection control policies.
  • Authorized to make entries in the medical record, consistent with and limited to the scope of the job duties and any applicable licensure.

Qualifications

Required Licensure and Certifications: Must be registered by the State of Nebraska as a Pharmacy Technician upon hire.
